Ananya Kewalramani is a couture fashion label based in Mumbai. The founder, having studied and worked in London for several years, was very inspired by a western approach to running a couture house. With collections following the seasonal Autumn/Winter, Spring/Summer fashion calendar, as opposed to an ‘inspiration’ led lens that is more common in India.
The goal was to create a brand that felt international, while drawing inspiration from Ananya’s signature embroidery style that incorporates delicate details inspired by natural elements.

Ananya Kewalramani is a couture fashion label based in Mumbai. The founder, having studied and worked in London for several years, was very inspired by a western approach to running a couture house. With collections following the seasonal Autumn/Winter, Spring/Summer fashion calendar, as opposed to an ‘inspiration’ led lens that is more common in India.
The goal was to create a brand that felt international, while drawing inspiration from Ananya’s signature embroidery style that incorporates delicate details inspired by natural elements.
Our goal with the logo was to create a monogram that felt luxe and that with time, would become iconic and could be ‘stamped’ across various touch points and eventually products, of the brand. We also built in elements like a seal which carries the label’s signature embroidery style.
We wanted the colours to reflect luxury but in an austere, delicate way. We consciously stayed away from using black due to the prevalent use of it in the fashion industry to signify luxury. We selected a palette inspired by flowers, balanced out by grey tones.
